‘God Can Free You’ – Ex-New Ager Now Reaches Millions for Christ
A former new ager turned evangelist and worship artist is sharing her testimony of how she left witchcraft and how she is reaching people for Jesus Christ.
During the red carpet premiere of “Nefarious,” a new horror-thriller movie about possession and spiritual warfare, Tailah Scroggins told CBN’s Faithwire regarding her journey out of the occult into Christ.
“Deliverance ministry is the ministry of Jesus, casting out demons,” Scroggins. “Deliverance was huge in my testimony. God freed me from so much.”
Prior to being saved, Scroggins was an astrologer and is now helping others find spiritual liberation in their lives.
“Jesus picked me up out of all of that and set me free from depression and anxiety,” she said. “God can free you and He’s what you’ve been searching for. That hole in your heart, a relationship isn’t gonna fill it, drugs isn’t gonna fill it, going to all the false spirituality … Jesus is what you’re searching for.”
“I’m so passionate about deliverance ministry,” she added. “That’s what I do online and in person.”
Regarding “Nefarious,” Scroggins stressed the importance of discussing spiritual warfare since it is a “hot topic” that “needs to be addressed.”
“I’m so glad the church is having this conversation,” she said.
During the pandemic, she managed to reach others struggling with depression and despair through social media.
“Millions of people started watching the videos and writing in and saying, ‘I threw my crystals away. I threw my tarot cards away. I’m free from depression,’” she said. “It’s really cool to see what the Lord is doing through online ministry.”
In a separate interview with the Nashville Voyager, Scroggins detailed how using her TikTok account has helped her reach millions with the Gospel.
“In 2021 I began creating videos on TikTok sharing my faith and helping others grow in their relationship with God,” she shared. “To my surprise, my videos went viral. I have been creating faith-based content, preaching, and sharing my worship music for the last two years, and have reached over 30 million people with the gospel.”
