2.3 Million People Take To Streets Of France, Riots Break Out And 108 Police Officers Get Attacked And Injured By Rioters

Chaos continues on in France as riots broke out with millions of people on the streets, and over a hundred cops getting injured. As we read in Rambler:

According to the latest data, more than 290 demonstrators were detained across the country, including 90 in Paris.

Earlier, leading trade unions in France called for May 1 to be the day of “unprecedented popular action against pension reform and for social justice.”

According to the French trade union organization General Confederation of Labor, the number of participants in the demonstrations is 2.3 million .

The French Interior Minister, Gérald Darmanin, expressed his disgust with the violence against police officers, stating that the violence was done by thugs who want to murder law enforcement, and also declared that the violence was due to left-wing influence. As we read in Liberation:

In tune with Gérald Darmanin , for whom “if the vast majority of demonstrators were pacifists of course, in Paris, Lyon and Nantes in particular, the police face extremely violent thugs who came with one objective: to kill cops. and go after the property of others”, as he wrote on the same social network. He also deplored, during a speech from the Ministry of the Interior, the number of injured police officers: “In certain cities in Paris, Lyon, Nantes, Angers, I want to have a thought for the 108 injured police. I condemn this violence in the strongest possible terms. It is extremely rare.” He also asserts that we are in a“society which is becoming radicalized by the ultra left and that is why I hope that we will have the technical means to fight against this violence, this is the case with drones ”.

Rioters burned an effigy of Gérald Darmanin which hung on a bus stop near Place de la Republique, the starting point of today’s protest in Paris. An effigy of Macron has been burned in the eastern city of Strasbourg.

Here you can see a police officer being set on fire to a cheering crowd:

France could very well one day have another revolution, reminiscent to the one that took place in the 18th century. In March of 2023,  protesters held placards depicting Mr. Macron in the regalia of France’s executed leader, with messages warning: “Louis XVI – we beheaded him.” “Louis XVI – we beheaded him.” Also in March of 2023 the Telegraph reported:

Emmanuel Macron was warned he faced the same fate as the beheaded King Louis XVI as fury over his pension reforms brought France to a standstill on Thursday.

It would not be surprising at all if France, yet again, has another blood soaked revolution.
