It’s James Comer’s Grit vs. Biden’s Grift as Family Corruption Scandal Intrigue Heats Up; Comer: FBI says Biden bribery probe ‘ongoing,’ involves ‘shell companies’, and a related story
It’s James Comer’s grit vs. Biden’s grift as family corruption scandal intrigue heats up:
James Comer is a hero.
It would be a lot easier for him to let sleeping dogs lie when it comes to the Biden family corruption scandal and the even bigger scandal of the subsequent FBI/CIA coverup which kept American voters in the dark about one of the two presidential candidates in the 2020 election.
But with the backing of Speaker Kevin McCarthy, Comer is right over the target with his House Oversight Committee investigations, and his confrontation with the FBI is both necessary and courageous.
The FBI has become a law unto itself.
Director Christopher Wray has been thumbing his nose at congressional oversight in a way that demands reprimand, which is exactly what Comer is delivering.
On Wednesday Comer introduced a resolution to hold Wray in contempt of Congress for his refusal to hand over an FBI document, a Form FD-1023, in which was recorded allegations, from a long-term trusted, paid confidential FBI source, that Joe Biden was allegedly paid a $5 million bribe by someone in Ukraine while he was vice president.
“Americans have lost trust in the FBI’s ability to enforce the law impartially and demand accountability,” Comer declared.
The White House, Democrats and allied media outlets have tried to spin the document as a conspiracy theory seeded by Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump’s former lawyer. —>READ MORE HERE
Comer: FBI says Biden bribery probe ‘ongoing,’ involves ‘shell companies’:
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said Monday that an FBI informant file accusing President Biden of a $5 million bribery scheme while he was vice president involves “shell companies” — and that FBI officials told him it’s part of an active investigation.
Comer (R-Ky.) reviewed the informant file, which he said came from a “highly credible informant,” in person at the Capitol and told reporters afterward that he will move to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt for not handing over a physical copy to the panel.
“The claims made in the document are consistent with what we found and disclosed to you all in Romania. It suggests a pattern of bribery where payments would be made through shell accounts and multiple banks,” Comer said.
“There’s a term for that, it’s called money laundering … So we feel that this accusation is consistent with a pattern that we’re seeing, frankly, in other countries.”
Comer said that “FBI officials confirmed that the unclassified FBI-generated record has not been disproven and is currently being used in an ongoing investigation.”
A source familiar with the review told The Post that names were redacted from the file the FBI brought to the Capitol, except for Biden’s.
The top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), also reviewed the document and told reporters it was his understanding the matter isn’t under investigation — though reporters pressed him repeatedly as he seemed to evade giving an answer. ––>READ MORE HERE
