Enough Fentanyl Crossing U.S. Border Monthly to Kill All Americans; Texas Gov Claims He’s Stopped Enough Fentanyl to Kill Entire US in Latest Battle with Biden; Fentanyl Responsible For 80% of Overdose Deaths Under 24 In US

Enough Fentanyl Crossing U.S. Border Monthly to Kill All Americans?

The amount of fentanyl crossing the southern U.S. border every month is more than enough to kill every single American. Fortunately, the Biden administration is focused on important things like overseas drag shows and the fake climate crisis.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported the seizure of about 2,100 pounds of illicit fentanyl at the border in June. To put that in context, Epoch Times cited the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to explain that a single kilogram of fentanyl, or 2.2 pounds, can potentially kill a stunning 500,000 people.

Dr. Donna Nelson, an organic chemist and University of Oklahoma professor, told Epoch Times, “I don’t think the public is really aware of what a challenge this is.” She continued, “You have to assume that the border agents are not catching everything that’s coming into our country.” That means there’s likely more than 2,100 pounds of fentanyl that crossed the border in June. Texas has seized over 422 million deadly doses of fentanyl at the border since 2021 — or “more than enough to kill all Americans,’’ Lone Star Gov. Greg Abbott fumed in a new salvo against President Biden.

“Every individual who is apprehended or arrested and every ounce of drugs seized would have otherwise made their way into communities across Texas and the nation due to President Joe Biden’s open border policies,” the Republican governor added in his weekly progress report Friday on Operation Lone Star, his border security plan.

That same day, the Biden administration threatened to sue Texas if Abbott did not remove a controversial floating border barrier made of large orange buoys in the Rio Grande, the river that separates Texas from Mexico and doubles as the international boundary.

The DOJ made good on its threat Monday, filing suit against the state, saying the barrier required federal approve to erect.

“We allege that Texas has flouted federal law by installing a barrier in the Rio Grande without obtaining the required federal authorization,” Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta said a press release. “This floating barrier poses threats to navigation and public safety and presents humanitarian concerns. Additionally, the presence of the floating barrier has prompted diplomatic protests by Mexico and risks damaging U.S. foreign policy.”

Hours earlier, Abbott released a letter he sent to President Joe Biden defending what he called his “sovereign interest” in protecting his state’s border. —>READ MORE HERE
