Russian Federation failing to advance in Kupyansk, Bakhmut directions:

During the day, 15 combat engagements took place, Russian terrorist troops conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in Kupyansk and Bakhmut directions.

This is stated in the report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook.

“During the day, the enemy launched seven missile strikes, 67 airstrikes, and 30 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated settlements. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, civilians, including children, were killed and wounded. The port infrastructure in Odesa region, as well as residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure, were destroyed,” the report reads.

As noted, the air defense forces destroyed two Kh-59 cruise missiles and 13 enemy Shahed-136/131UAVs today.

More than 15 combat engagements took place during the day.

In Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy launched mortar and artillery attacks on more than 15 settlements, in particular, Tymonovychy, Bleshnia in Chernihiv region; Shalyhine, Popivka, Myropillia in Sumy region; Odnorobivka, Stohnii, Udy, Zelene, Hatyshche in Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Senkivka, Kharkiv region. The settlements of Vilshana, Petropavlivka, Cherneshchyna in Kharkiv region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In Lyman direction, about 20 settlements were hit with enemy artillery, in particular, Nevske, Dibrova, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Sivesrk, Verkhniokamyanske, Sviato-Pokrovske, Vyimka in Donetsk region,”

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Bohdanivka in Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Stupochky in Donetsk region, came under enemy artillery fire. —>READ MORE HERE

War update: Ukrainian forces repel enemy attack near Avdiivka:

Ukraine’s defense forces have repelled an enemy attack near Avdiivka, with about 30 combat engagements recorded along the front line in the last 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a morning update posted to Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“In the Avdiivka sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives south of Avdiivka, Donetsk region. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the Avdiivka and Nevelske area. More than ten settlements, including Novokalynove, Semenivka, Yasnobrodivka, Karlivka and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery fire,” the update read.

Last night, Russia launched another attack against Ukraine, using Iranian Shahed-136/131 one-way attack drones. Reports on the consequences of this terrorist attack are currently being clarified.

In the last 24 hours, the Russian occupiers struck Ukraine with air and sea-based missiles. In total, at least 28 cruise missiles of different types were launched, including 4 Kh-22 cruise missiles, 20 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and 4 Kalibr cruise missiles. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 16 Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kalibr cruise missiles. In addition, the enemy launched at least eight S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.

In total, in the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 42 missile strikes, 56 airstrikes and carried out 36 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, civilian casualties, including child casualties, were recorded. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

The probability of the enemy launching missile and air strikes on targets across Ukraine remains high.

On the Volyn and Polissia axis, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy carried out airstrikes near Atynske, Yastrubyne and Pavlivka, Sumy region. The enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 30 settlements, including Tymonovychi, Khotiivka and Hremiach in the Chernihiv region, Sytne, Shalyhyne, Stepne, Uhroidy and Popivka in the Sumy region and Hraniv, Pletenivka, Okhrimivka, Kreidianka and Vilkhuvatka in the Kharkiv region. —>READ MORE HERE
