Alleged Cartel Informer Brutally Assaults, Bites Border Patrol Agent in Texas; Pic Shows Brutalized Border Patrol Agent After Alleged Attack by Migrant With ‘RAT’ Scrawled on His Forehead
Alleged Cartel Informer Brutally Assaults, Bites Border Patrol Agent in Texas:
A migrant suspected of being a Mexican cartel informant brutally assaulted and bit a Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agent after crossing the border from Mexico. A photo shows the word rata (rat) branded on his forehead.
Former Republican Representative Mayra Flores shared photos on her social media account depicting the aftermath of a violent assault against a Border Patrol agent in Texas. Sunday’s post on X, (formerly Twitter), included the photo of a migrant with a tattoo on his forehead that reads “RATA” which translates to rat in English — a sign that the migrant may have been branded by the Mexican Cartels as an informer. Flores also shared the bloody images of a Border Patrol agent wounded in the attack.
The unnamed Border Patrol agent sustained a bite wound to his thigh during the attack. The attack occurred in the Texas Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector. A source within CBP, not authorized to speak to the media, says the incidents of assault on Border Patrol agents have not risen significantly during the latest border migration surge, but the assaults are becoming more dangerous as fewer Border Patrol agents are out on patrol.
“Most Border Patrol agents are dealing with the thousands of migrants crossing each day who willingly surrender,” the source explained. “Those migrants are not combative.”
“The ones who are trying to get away or are involved in human and drug smuggling are the danger,” the source continued. “If you tangle with one of them, the likelihood of having any quick back-up nearby is almost zero.” —>READ MORE HERE

A Border Patrol agent was bloodied in an attack by a migrant cartel informer who had the word “RAT” carved into his forehead, a former Texas Republican lawmaker said.
Former Rep. Mayra Flores, 37, the wife of a Border Patrol agent, shared the gory image of the fed after the southern border attack in her social media accounts Sunday, and described what she claimed led to his injuries.
“This is the type of violence that is being exerted on Border Patrol Agents by those who don’t want to be apprehended,” she wrote, adding that agents encountered the alleged attacker near McAllen, Texas.
“The suspect was labeled a rat by the cartels and fought against the agent until backup arrived,” Flores wrote. “Please pray for our men and women in uniform.”
The former lawmaker and current candidate, who was the first Mexican-born woman to serve in the House, also posted an image of the wounded migrant, whose forehead apparently bore a marking etched by a Mexican drug cartel.
Cartels have been known to carry out public acts of violent revenge – including beheadings, hangings and acid baths – against traitors, but they also have branded those who dared to cross them with body paint.
In 2021, the Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación — or the New Generation Jalisco Cartel, one of the largest drug-trafficking organizations on the planet — gunned down a North Carolina charter school teacher when he tried to rob one of their stash houses.
Earlier that year, a former lieutenant for the cartel — who broke away to start his own gang — was found dead on a park bench, wrapped in plastic, with a sign pinned to his body with knives displaying the words “the traitor El Cholo.” —>READ MORE HERE
