Details: Russian troops conducted offensive operations in the area of Kupiansk, Kreminna, Bakhmut, on the Avdiivka-Donetsk line and in the border area of Donetsk-Zaporizhzhia oblasts and advanced slightly on the Avdiivka-Donetsk line.

In addition, geolocation footage published on 27 September shows that Russian troops made little progress west of Marinka (on the southwestern outskirts of Donetsk). The General Staff of Ukraine reported that Russian troops launched unsuccessful attacks east of Stepove (8 kilometres northwest of Avdiivka), southwest of Avdiivka, as well as near Novoselivka (17 kilometres northeast of Avdiivka), Tonenke (7 kilometres northwest of Avdiivka), Marinka and Novomykhailivka (10 kilometres southwest of Donetsk).

The General Staff of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian troops continued offensive operations on the Melitopol front (west of Zaporizhzhia Oblast) and near Bakhmut.

The Russians claim that Ukrainian troops carried out unsuccessful ground attacks near Klischiivka (7 kilometres south-west of Bakhmut), Andriivka (10 kilometres south-west of Bakhmut), Robotyne (10 kilometres south of Orikhiv), Novoprokopivka (13 kilometres south of Orikhiv) and Verbove (18 kilometres south-east of Orikhiv). —>READ MORE HERE

Drone hit major Russian aircraft and missile plant in Smolensk:

The aircraft plant of the state-owned Tactical Missiles Corporation (KTRV), a major producer of missiles and other weapons, was hit by a drone in Russia’s Smolensk, Russian Agentstvo.News reported on Telegram on Oct. 1 after analyzing videos on social media.

The drone flew past the car wash and the Kutuzov shopping center on Kutuzov Street toward the building of the Smolensk Aircraft Plant, which also houses an experimental flight test station.

This information contradicts Russian Defense Ministry (MoD) statements claiming the “interception” of all drones in Smolensk.

The plant is involved in the production of components and aircraft such as the Yak-18T and SM-92T aircraft families. It also repairs Yak-18Ts and produces spare parts for the Yak-40 and Yak-42 aircraft.

The Russian MoD has placed state orders with the plant until 2025 and its production volume is expected to quadruple in the coming years, claimed earlier reports from Oct. 2022.

Russia reportedly came under drone attack in the cities of Sochi, Smolensk, and Shebkino on Oct. 1, according to several reports this morning, including a Russian military helicopter parking lot in Sochi. —>READ MORE HERE
