Patricia Heaton Rebukes Rashida Tlaib, Journalists for Blaming Israel for Hospital Bombing
Actress Patrica Heaton continues to defend Israel following Hamas over a week after the terrorist group attacked the Jewish state.
As reported by Faithwire, Heaton took issue with Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), who blamed Israel for bombing a Palestinian hospital earlier this week.
“Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital, killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that,” Tlaib wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday. “@POTUS, this is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire [and] help de-escalate.”
“Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes, and many Palestinian Americans and Muslim Americans like me. We will remember where you stood,” she continued.
However, Tlaib’s tweet had multiple reader citations stressing that Palestinian Islamic Jihad was responsible for the bombing, not Israel.
In response, Heaton denounced the congresswoman with a message of her own.
“Hello @RashidaTlaib – this tweet is a straight-up lie, yet you refuse to take it down despite knowing it is causing rioting around the world,” the “Every Loves Raymond” actress wrote, “Is it your goal to foment violence and divide people? Shame on you.”

Tlaib also blamed Israel during a protest on Wednesday and claimed that the Biden administration was funding a “genocide” against Palestinians.
In addition to her criticism of Tlaib, Heaton also took issue with the mainstream media in their reporting of the Israel-Hamas conflict.
“@NBCNews uses #Hamas as their ‘news’ source,” she wrote, commenting on a report by NBC News. “‘Palestinian health officials’ are #Hamas. Other media outlets are doing the same. They have completely delegitimized themselves and destroyed the last crumb of integrity they had.”
In another tweet, Heaton denounced “openly anti-Israel” journalists for blaming Israel for the bombing.
“These “journalists “ are un-effing-believable. They are openly anti-Israel and seem perfectly comfortable letting the whole world know. Good on Jonathan for pushing back on this shameless woman.”
Her comment was on a post to Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson Jonathan Conricus, who was recently interviewed on Sky News.
“Listen to the first question I got on @SkyNews, blaming Israel for the fact that Palestinians were sheltering in a hospital as if we started this war or wanted it!!” Conricus wrote. “Classic old-school Israel-blaming.”
