Ukraine intensifying attacks against Russian military in occupied territories and Russia – ISW:

Ukraine is intensifying attacks against Russian military deployment sites, logistics, and other important facilities in rear areas in occupied Ukraine and in the Russian Federation.

This is said in a report by the Washington-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrinform reports.

The Ukrainian Main Military Intelligence Directorate (GUR) reported on November 12 that Ukrainian partisans attacked a Russian military headquarters in occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia on November 11, killing at least three Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and Rosgvardia officers.

American experts said that the GUR’s November 12 announcement follows a Ukrainian partisan attack against a former Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR) People’s Militia head on November 8; strikes against a Russian military base in occupied Skadovsk, Kherson region and Black Sea Fleet assets in Crimea on November 9; and three rear-area strikes and partisan attacks in Russia on November 11.

In addition, Ukrainian forces have conducted a strike campaign specifically targeting occupied Crimea since summer 2023.

“Ukraine appears to be intensifying attacks against Russian military, logistics, and other high-profile assets in rear areas in occupied Ukraine and Russia,” the ISW said. —>READ MORE HERE

Russians try to advance on 6 fronts, 50 combat clashes take place over day:

During the day, 50 combat clashes took place at the front, the Russians launched 2 missile strikes and 32 air strikes, and carried out 23 attacks with multiple-launch rocket systems.

Quote: “During the day, the Air Force of the Defence Forces carried out eight strikes on the areas where Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated and one strike on a Russian multiple-launch rocket system.

Units of Rocket Forces and Artillery inflicted damage on six areas where Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, two control points, four artillery units, one anti-aircraft defence system and one other important enemy target.”

Details: On the Kupiansk front, the Russians carried out assaults near Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka (Kharkiv Oblast), where Ukrainian soldiers repelled six attacks.

On the Bakhmut front, the Russians carried out assaults near Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka (Donetsk Oblast), where Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attacks.

On the Avdiivka front, the Russians conducted unsuccessful assault actions south of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Sieverne and east of Pervomaiske (Donetsk Oblast), where the Defence Forces repulsed eight attacks.

On the Marinka front, the Russians, with the support of aircraft, conducted unsuccessful assaults near Marinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast), where Ukrainian Defence Forces repulsed 15 attacks. —>READ MORE HERE
