Russians intensify attacks on Marinka front, Ukraine’s forces repel 25 attacks – General Staff report

The Russian forces launched attacks on eight fronts, focusing most heavily on Marinka and Avdiivka. Over the last 24 hours, there have been 82 combat clashes on the front lines. The Russians launched two missile attacks and 19 air strikes, as well as 68 attacks on Ukrainian forces and settlement positions, using multiple-launch missile systems.

Details: In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group on the Kupiansk front, the Ukrainian forces repelled six Russian attacks near Synkivka, Tabaivka, Kharkiv Oblast, as well as Stelmakhivka, Luhansk Oblast.

On the Lyman front , Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attacks by the Russian forces in the areas of the settlements of Terny, Torske, Donetsk Oblast, and two more attacks near Makiivka, Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut front , the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled eight attacks by Russians near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka, Donetsk Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group on the Avdiivka front , Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the Russians who do not abandon their attempts to encircle Avdiivka. War update: Ukraine reports 94 combat clashes on front lines in past 24 hours:

Ninety-four combat engagements were recorded on the battlefield in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, with Ukrainian forces repelling enemy attacks in seven sectors.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

The operational situation in the east and south of the country remains difficult.

In the past 24 hours, Russian troops launched eight missile strikes (with S-300 air defense missiles against civilian infrastructure in Myrnohrad and Novohradivka, Donetsk region, and Antonivka, Kherson region) and carried out 38 attacks using multiple rocket launchers against the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, civilians were killed and injured. Apartment blocks, private houses, schools, kindergartens, a shopping center and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

The situation in the area of responsibility of the North operational and strategic group of troops in the Volyn and Polissia sectors remains largely unchanged.

In the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna sectors, the enemy maintains its military presence in the border areas, conducting subversive activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to dangerous sectors and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region. Artillery and mortar strikes were recorded in more than 35 settlements, including Yeline, Halahanivka and Leonivka in the Chernihiv region, Popivka, Volfyne and Veselivka in the Sumy region, as well as Veterynarne, Nesterne and Komisarove in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 attacks near Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region, where the enemy tried to break through Ukrainian defenses. More than ten settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled seven attacks near Terny and Torske, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian troops. More than ten settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevske, Bilohorivka and Serebrianske Forestry in the Luhansk region and Torske, Serebrianka and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region. —>READ MORE HERE
