Multiple casualties after shooting in northern Israeli-Arab town
A shooting incident occurred in the northern Israeli-Arab town of Kafr Yasif has left one dead and multiple people wounded, including a toddler, according to an initial report from Israel Police.
Five of the injured were brought to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, with three of the injured in serious condition, including a three-year-old toddler who was brought to the operating room.
Two other injured individuals, 35-years-old and 29-years-old respectively, were in moderate condition and undergoing tests in the emergency room.
One of the individuals died from his wounds, while his son, a three-year-old toddler, was seriously injured and transferred for surgery.
MDA team arrived to evacuate the injured
According to Magen David Adom (MDA), the incident was reported at around 9:52 p.m., and an MDA team was at the scene to evacuate the injured in an ambulance.
Police forces from the Western Galilee station are at the scene. An investigation has been opened, in what appears to be a suspected conflict between families.
