Trump calls RFK Jr. a ‘Democrat plant,’ says voting for him is a ‘wasted protest vote’:

Former President Donald Trump accused Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of being a “Democrat plant” in a tirade against the independent presidential candidate.

Mr. Trump took to Truth Social on Friday to contend that Mr. Kennedy could play a spoiler if people vote for him.

“RFK Jr. is a Democrat ‘Plant,’ a Radical Left Liberal who’s been put in place in order to help Crooked Joe Biden, the Worst President in the History of the United States, get Re-Elected,” Mr. Trump wrote.

He continued, “A vote for Junior would essentially be a WASTED PROTEST VOTE that could swing either way, but would only swing against the Democrats if Republicans knew the true story about him.”

Mr. Trump previously suggested that the third-party candidate, who switched from Democratic to Independent last year, hurts President Biden’s chances of winning more so than his own.

But a pair of polls recently released by NBC News and Marist College suggested that Mr. Kennedy was siphoning more votes from Mr. Trump, and that Mr. Biden was gaining ground with voters when matched against the trio of third-party candidates — Mr. Kennedy, Cornel West and Jill Stein — running for the White House. —>READ MORE HERE

More ‘LIBERAL than anyone running as a Democrat’: Trump keeps up attacks on RFK Jr:

Kennedy is “far more LIBERAL than anyone running as a Democrat, including West and Stein,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Former President Donald Trump is turning up the heat on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as the reality sets in that Kennedy’s quixotic White House bid could siphon Republican support away from him.

Kennedy is “far more LIBERAL than anyone running as a Democrat, including West and Stein,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Sunday morning, referencing third-party candidates Cornel West and Jill Stein.

Trump claimed without evidence that Kennedy, who is running as an independent, was pushed out of the Democratic Party “because he was taking primary votes away” from President Joe Biden.

Kennedy, the nephew of former President John F. Kennedy and son of former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, has long been a concern for Democrats backing Biden’s bid, though his policy platforms sometimes diverge from the party. But as polls show Kennedy drawing support from members of both parties, Trump has begun to acknowledge the threat the independent could pose in a race where the margin of victory for Trump or Biden is currently looking slim. —>READ MORE HERE
