Pokrovsk sector remains hottest: 27 enemy attacks repelled today, nine battles still raging:

Since the beginning of the day, 131 combat engagements have already taken place on the front lines in Ukraine, with the enemy being most active in the Pokrovsk sector.

This is said in a situation update by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

Throughout the day, the enemy is increasing the intensity of its attacks, trying to find ways to break through the defensive lines and dislodge Ukrainian units out of their positions.

In the Kharkiv sector, in the afternoon, Russian invaders dropped three aerial bombs on private houses and outbuildings in Tsyrkuny village, causing casualties. The enemy launched three attacks with nine guided aerial bombs on Lyptsi and dropped two more bombs on Zelene. Battles have been raging in the area of Vovchansk since the start of the day. Six enemy attacks were repelled by the Defense Forces, five more are ongoing.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled seven enemy attacks near Stepova Novoselivka, Stelmakhivka, Synkivka and Kruhliakivka. Two combat clashes are ongoing.

The enemy attempted 14 times to advance deep into Ukrainian territory in the areas of Nevske, Makiivka, Torske, Hrekivka and Serebrianska Forest in the Lyman sector but had no success. Three combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, the Russian army lost 90 troops in action since the beginning of the day. Five enemy dugouts and one ammunition depot were destroyed.

In the Siversk sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian troops 19 times near Bilohorivka, Spirne, Verkhniokamianske, Ivano-Dariivka, Rozdolivka and Vyimka. The defense forces repelled 15 attacks. Four more combat engagements are ongoing. —>READ MORE HERE

Russian forces attempt to advance near Serebryanske forestry – General Staff:

Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has been increasing the intensity of attacks, attempting to find ways to infiltrate our defenses and trying to force Ukrainian units out of occupied positions. The number of combat clashes along the entire front line has risen to 131, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, the Kharkiv region continues to suffer from insidious rocket and bomb strikes originating from the territory of the Russian Federation. At noon, Russian troops inflicted damage with three aerial bombs on private homes and utility buildings in the village of Tsyrkuny.

As a result of these insidious and criminal actions by the aggressor, civilians have been harmed. Additionally, the enemy conducted three strikes with nine aerial bombs on Lyptsi, and dropped two more bombs on Zelene. Combat is ongoing in the area near Vovchansk throughout the day. Our soldiers repelled six enemy attacks and five more are still underway.

Situation on the fronts

The Kupiansk direction
Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian defenders have repelled seven attacks by Russian forces near Stepova Novoselivka, Stelmakhivka, Synkivka, and Kruhlyakivka. Two battles are still ongoing.

The Lyman direction
The enemy’s 14 attempts to advance into our territory in the areas of Nevske, Makiivka, Torske, Hrekivka, and the Serebrianske forestry were unsuccessful. Three battles are still ongoing. Preliminary losses of the aggressor in this direction since the beginning of the day are 90 troops killed and wounded, with five bunkers and one ammunition depot destroyed.

The Siversk direction
The enemy attacked Ukrainian defenders 19 times near Bilohorivka, Spirne, Verkhnokamianske, Ivano-Dariivka, Rozdolivka, and Vyiimka. Our soldiers firmly held the defense and repelled 15 enemy assaults. Four battles are still ongoing. Preliminary data indicates that the losses of Russia here amount to 63 people.
