MSNBC Focus Group Of Swing-State Voters Trashes Kamala Harris: ‘I Think She’s An Idiot’
MSNBC’s focus group of women in Wisconsin delivered sharp criticism of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris on Tuesday night, calling her “an idiot” and noting that she has accomplished nothing in her current role as vice president. The entire focus group told the news outlet they plan to vote for Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
The comments follow Harris’ visit to Wisconsin, where she hosted her first campaign rally since the democratic party’s coup to oust Joe Biden made her the presumptive nominee. MSNBC has called Wisconsin a “battleground state.”
“I think she’s worse,” one voter told MSNBC’s Elise Jordan, comparing Harris to Biden. “She doesn’t even know what’s going on at the border and that’s what she was supposed to be doing and in charge of.”
The women highlighted Harris’ failure as border czar, a role Biden handed her in March 2021. At the time, the president called Harris “the most qualified person” to “[stem] the migration to our southern border.”
The border crisis has spiraled into a historic humanitarian crisis under Harris’ control, with over ten million illegal migrants entering the U.S. during Harris’ vice presidency and a record-setting 686 migrant deaths and disappearances last year. Illegal migrants have been convicted of over 60,000 crimes, including child rape and murder, under the vice president’s leadership. Harris declined to meet with any U.S. Border Patrol chief under the Biden administration and has previously advocated for decriminalizing border crossings.
The focus group told MSNBC they blame Harris for the ongoing border crisis.
“I think she’s an idiot,” said Mary, one of the women interviewed. “Because she hasn’t done anything in the time that she’s had. We don’t know anything about her as far as her three years so far in the White House. She’s not real smart.”
The women highlighted Harris’ recent takeover of Biden’s presidential campaign after the president announced he would “stand down” on Monday.
“As a school teacher, if I did not do what I was supposed to be doing, you better believe my job would be in jeopardy. Not only was her job not in jeopardy, she was just handed a promotion.”
The focus group agreed they would vote for a female president when “there is a competent one.” Biden insisted he would place womanhood above competency in 2020 following a media and establishment campaign pressuring him to “pick a black woman as his running mate.” The media has since tacitly admitted this effort was racist.
