WATCH: Manhunt ensues after terrorist kills one, wounds another in shooting attack in West Bank
The death of one individual has been determined following a shooting attack in the area of the Mehola Junction in the West Bank on Sunday afternoon.
IDF soldiers from the Jordan Valley Brigade were deployed in the area of the attack and have begun pursuing the terrorists, blocking roads, and conducting searches in the area, the IDF reported.
Initially, it was reported that one was severely wounded, and the other was moderately wounded. However, the severely wounded individual succumbed to his wounds.
A manhunt is underway for the terrorists’ vehicle, and the IDF has raided several Palestinian villages in the north Jordan Valley, army radio reported.

The attack occurred from a passing vehicle
The terrorist opened fire from a passing vehicle at several vehicles at the Mehola Junction in the Jordan Valley on Route 90 in the West Bank Sunday afternoon, the IDF reported.
Israel Police reported that Route 90 in both directions has been closed to traffic from Mehola Junction to Adam Junction, as well as Route 578, from Mehola Junction to Bekaot Junction.
Hazalah Without Borders in the West Bank and Magen David Adom (MDA) provided medical treatment to the wounded individuals, one of which was a 25-year-old and was in critical condition who later succumbed to his wounds, MDA reported.
The other individual is a 33-year-old man in moderate condition with gunshot wounds to his lower body. He has been transferred by MDA-Hatzallah Air helicopter to a hospital.
