Trump On X: If Kamala Harris Wanted To Stop The Border Invasion, She’d Have Done It By Now
Former President Donald Trump blasted Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday for suddenly pretending to care about the ongoing border invasion, citing how the Democrat presidential nominee has had three and a half years to fix the problem.
“You have millions of people coming in a month, and then [Harris] gets up and she tries to pretend like she’s going to do something. She had three and a half years [to stop it],” Trump said during an X interview with owner Elon Musk.
The Republican presidential candidate went on to note how Biden and Harris have at least “another five months” in office to fix the crisis if they want to but predicted they “won’t do anything.”
“It’s all talk,” Trump said. “She’s incompetent and he’s incompetent. And frankly, I think that she’s more incompetent than he is, and that’s saying something because he’s not too good.”
The former president’s remarks appear to be in reference to comments issued by Harris at a recent campaign event, in which she attempted to gaslight Americans into believing she’s serious about stopping the ongoing invasion. Specifically, the sitting vice president attacked Trump for opposing a horribly negotiated congressional bill proposed earlier this year that sought to codify the Biden-Harris invasion into federal law.
“Donald Trump does not want to fix this problem,” Harris proclaimed, before pledging to sign the disastrous border bill if elected this November.
Contrary to her sudden tough talk about border security, Harris has been one of — if not the — biggest perpetrators of the crisis. Tapped by Biden to manage the disaster, America’s border czar has allowed millions of illegal aliens to infringe upon America’s sovereignty. An estimated 10 million foreign nationals have unlawfully entered the United States since Biden took office in January 2021, according to the Washington Examiner.
Harris’ attempt to feign concern about the invasion is further marred by her past support for open border policies. In recent years, she’s expressed support for abolishing ICE and detention centers housing illegal immigrants, providing amnesty to illegal aliens, and dismissing concerns that suspected terrorists could enter America via an open southern border. She also previously compared ICE to the Ku Klux Klan during a 2018 Senate hearing.
