Robert F. Kennedy Jr. went scorched earth on Friday against the Democrat party for launching a coup against President Joe Biden in order to replace him with Vice President Kamala Harris — who went from being one of the most unpopular vice presidents in history to suddenly leading former President Donald Trump in the polls.

Kennedy has moved to withdraw his name in at least two battleground states for now — Arizona and Pennsylvania. Kennedy said he will remain on the ballot in states that are comfortably Republican or Democrat.

The decision comes as Democrats have tried to use lawfare to knock Kennedy off the ballot in key states, just as they did to Trump. Kennedy slammed the process as undemocratic before decrying the “palace coup against President Joe Biden.”

“In the name of saving democracy, the Democratic Party set itself to dismantling it. Lacking confidence in its candidate — that its candidate could win in a fair election at the voting booth — the DNC waged continual legal warfare against both President Trump and myself,” Kennedy said.

The DNC followed this up by running “a sham primary that was rigged to prevent any serious challenge to President Biden,” Kennedy continued. “Then, when a predictably bungled debate performance precipitated the palace coup against President Biden, the same, shadowy DNC operatives appointed his successor — also without an election.”

“They installed a candidate that was so unpopular with voters that she dropped out in 2020 without winning a single delegate,” he said.

Kennedy went on to describe the recent conduct of Presidential Nominee Harris as “profoundly undemocratic.”

“My uncle and my father both relished debate. They prided themselves on their capacity to go toe-to-toe with any opponent in the battle over ideas. They would be astonished to learn of a Democratic Party presidential nominee who, like Vice President Harris, has not appeared in a single interview or an unscripted encounter with voters for 35 days,” he said. “This is profoundly undemocratic.”

“How are people to choose when they don’t know whom they are choosing? And how can this look to the rest of the world?” Kennedy asked.

Kennedy then obliterated the corporate left-wing media for doing Democrats’ bidding.

“Instead of showing us her substance and character, the DNC and its media organs engineered a surge of popularity for Vice President Harris based upon — nothing,” Kennedy said. “No policies, no interviews, no debates. Only smoke and mirrors.”

Harris currently leads Trump by 1.5 points, according to RealClearPolitics average. It’s a surprising lead given that 49 percent of registered voters surveyed had a negative view of Harris just last year, according to an NBC News poll.

However, more than 70 percent of Democrats and independent voters who voted for Biden in 2020 have no idea what Harris’ policy positions are.

Media Research Center conducted a poll amongst 1,200 “registered Democrats and Independents who voted for Joe Biden in 2020” and found on 10 “different aspects of Harris’s public record … between 71% and 86% of these Democrats and Independents said they either had not heard of Harris’s position or were unsure.”
