The IDF announced on Monday that it used a drone to attack an operations room in Tulkarm in the West Bank at the Nur al-Shams refugee camp.
Five individuals were killed in the strike, according to Israeli media.
General strike planned in response
Four loud explosions were heard after an Israeli drone targeted a house in the camp in the West Bank city of Tulkarm, Palestinian Authority-run news agency, Wafa, reported.
The Hamas-affiliated Safa News said general strikes were planned in the area in response to the events.
On Tuesday, Wafa claimed four people had been arrested in Hebron.
