INVADER NEWS: Illegal Migrant from Dominican Republic Suspected of ‘horrifically’ Killing New York Family of Four; Arrest Made in Quadruple Homicide in Upstate NY. What We Know Now
Illegal migrant from Dominican Republic suspected of ‘horrifically’ killing New York family of four:
An illegal migrant wanted for murder in the Dominican Republic is accused of “horrifically” killing a family of four in upstate New York last month as firefighters made the gruesome discovery during a house call.
Julio Cesar Pimentel-Soriano, 34, allegedly used a “sharp object” to fatally stab Fraime Ubaldo, 30, Marangely Moreno-Santiago, 26, Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno, 4, and Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno, 2, inside their Irondequoit home on Aug. 31, according to a felony complaint viewed by WHAM.
He allegedly stabbed each victim in the neck and chest multiple times.
“Obviously, the allegations are troubling,” Assistant District Attorney Perry Duckles told the outlet. “They are difficult to deal with. They are difficult to see.”
“It seems like this family was very well-liked and very active in their community, so obviously my condolences go out to their family, friends, and neighbors who had to suffer through this,” Assistant District Attorney Perry Duckles said.
Firefighters were called to the residence around 5:23 a.m. on Aug. 31 for multiple fires around the home before they discovered the family of four’s bodies.
Investigators determined that it was “readily apparent” their deaths were from a homicide, and not the fire.
“This was a horrific scene,” Irondequoit Police Chief Scott Peters said, holding back tears at a press conference Friday. “In almost 32 years of doing this job I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Duckles says police are still looking for at least “one other actor” in connection to the deaths. —>READ MORE HERE
Arrest made in quadruple homicide in upstate NY. What we know now:
A man in the United States illegally has been charged in connection with last month’s brutal quadruple homicide in Irondequoit.
Julio Cesar Pimentel Soriano, 34, who is originally from the Dominican Republic, was arrested last week, Irondequoit Police Chief Scott Peters announced Friday. He was charged with four counts of first-degree murder in connection with the Aug. 31 killings of a family of four.
Fraime Ubaldo, 30, Marangely Moreno-Santiago, 26, and the pair’s two children – Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno, 4, and Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno, 2 ‒ were all killed inside the family’s home at 329 Knapp St. Emergency responders were called to the home around 5:20 a.m. Aug. 31 to battle a fire. Multiple fires were set around the home, which were extinguished by Irondequoit firefighters who then found the four bodies inside. Police said the fires were an apparent attempt to cover up the killings.
Soriano is currently being held at the Monroe County Jail without bail, according to jail records.
Peters did not disclose the manner of death in which the family of four were killed but has said it was not the result of the fire. Peters said he could not share further details about the homicide since it remains an active investigation in which officers are searching for additional people “wanted in connection with the incident.” —>READ MORE HERE
