Ground operations in Lebanon
Division 98 forces were the first to begin the ground operation, followed by Division 36.
The soldiers operate in brigade-level attacks, with approximately 1000 soldiers operating in Lebanon. They combine air operations alongside tanks and artillery.
During the operations, troops killed terrorists in buildings and locations near the border and identified and destroyed stored weapons, ready-to-launch rocket launchers, and explosives left behind by Hezbollah.
Air force units have focused on preemptive strikes on Hezbollah targets in raids, and have operated in reconnaissance missions as well.
