Rocket from Lebanon hits building in Majd al-Krum, killing two, wounding others
Hassan Suwaed, 21, and Arjwan Abd al-Halim Manaa, 25, died from their wounds after the gym they were in was hit by Hezbollah rocket in the Arab-Muslim majority town of Majd al-Krum in northern Israel, Israeli media reported on Friday.
Initially, reports stated that Suwaed and Manaa were in critical condition, with another person severely wounded and six others lightly to moderately wounded, according to Magen David Adom.
Following an IDF report according to which approximately 30 rockets were identified crossing from Lebanon towards Israel’s north, noting that some of which were intercepted, however, hits were also detected, MDA reported that three people were wounded and were evacuated to The Galilee Medical Center.
The two in critical condition are in their early 20s, according to the MDA, and were undergoing resuscitation efforts on their way to the hospital. However, the Galilee Medical Center later announced they had died from their wounds.

The Lebanon-based terror organization Hezbollah later took responsibility for the attack, claiming they had targeted the town of Karmiel with a large missile salvo.
More wounded
An approximately 80-year-old man was critically wounded and was also evacuated to the hospital. Moreover, according Israeli media reported that several others were lightly to moderately wounded from shrapnel, and approximately 20 people had experienced anxienty.
Following the attack, Foreign Minister Israel Katz posted on X, formerly Twitter, emphasizing that the rockets “again proves that Iran’s proxies kill Jews, Christians, Muslim Arabs, Bedouins, Druze, and anyone different from them.”

In addition, earlier on Friday, a direct hit was reported in Shomera, northern Israel, Israeli media reported.
