Border Patrol Agents Threaten to Leave In Droves If Kamala Harris Wins: ‘Not doing this s–t again’; Kamala Harris’ Past Proposals Show Her True Intentions With ICE and the Border

Border patrol agents threaten to leave in droves if Kamala Harris wins: ‘Not doing this s–t again’:

Border patrol agents are threatening to leave the critical federal agency in droves if Vice President Kamala Harris wins in November — with multiple agents telling The Post that they can’t face four more years of being undermined and scapegoated.

“I’m not doing this s–t again … four years of hell,” said one agent, who is nowhere near retirement.

Another agent said: “Lots of guys who can retire will go. If Trump wins, they’ll stay.”

On Monday the Border Patrol union, National Border Patrol Council, endorsed former President Donald Trump.

The Border Patrol has suffered massive turnover and plummeting morale under the Biden-Harris administration, insiders say.

The agency has shed more than 4,000 personnel since October 2020, leaving about 19,000 employees, according to the Washington Examiner.

Enticements like increasing recruitment incentives from $10,000 to up to $30,000 and encouraging retired agents to return have not filled the gap.

Both Trump and Harris have pledged to beef up the Border Patrol, with the Republican nominee making the announcement Sunday about increasing force by one-third or 10,000 new agents.

But multiple agents, who talked to the Post anonymously for fear of backlash from their bosses, said that Harris is likely to take office with a massive staffing crisis at the agency if she is elected.

“We will have another exodus just because we will have a bunch of 20-year agents saying peace out,” one agent said.

He also believes the more experienced agents — with five to 10 years on the job, who do much of the grunt work of the Border Patrol — will use their skills to get other jobs. —>READ MORE HERE

Kamala Harris’ past proposals show her true intentions with ICE and the border:

If Kamala Harris becomes president, the border would become nothing more than an imaginary line, the world would be allowed to apply for asylum and hardly anyone would be deported.

Don’t take my word for it — take Kamala Harris’.

There are two sources that offer a detailed look at her likely approach to immigration issues, freely available to anyone who cares to look.

The first are the bills related to immigration enforcement that Harris herself wrote or co-sponsored during her four years in the Senate.

There’s no need to read between the lines here, nor can these be dismissed as off-the-cuff comments pandering to the audience du jour.

If Harris’ “values” haven’t changed, as she insists, her legislation offers a detailed outline of how she would put those values into practice.

And, hoo boy, is it radical.

Depleted enforcement

Harris’ bills would have made it harder for the DHS to detain illegal aliens, handcuffed Immigration and Customs Enforcement and prevented it from enforcing immigration law, facilitated asylum fraud, as well as prohibited the use of programs successfully employed under the Trump administration.

A few examples. At the border, her Immigration Enforcement Moratorium Act would have required the DHS to release, and give a work permit to, every illegal immigrant caught at the border during a public health emergency, with only very narrow exceptions.

Detention is the only sure way to make sure illegal immigrants actually show up for hearings and leave when ordered to do so.

And yet Harris — in her DONE law, or Detention Oversight, Not Expansion Act — sought to cut the number of detention beds, end mandatory detention, prohibit the detention of minors even if they’re criminals, and make it almost impossible to detain any border-infiltrator with minor children.

Her legislation would also have prohibited the detention — or even the use of an ankle monitor! — for any illegal immigrant who is a member of a “vulnerable population,” including anyone who applies for asylum or is over 65 or is the family breadwinner or claims to be gay or transgender, or literally any other group designated as “vulnerable” by the DHS secretary. —>READ MORE HERE
