Syrian And Russian Forces Kill Six Hundred Terrorists In The Battle For Aleppo
Syrian and Russian forces have killed six hundred terrorists in the battle for Aleppo in the past two day, as we read in RT:
The Syrian military’s response to the attack was backed by Russian airstrikes. According to Oleg Ignasyuk, deputy head of the Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria, Russian and Syrian forces have eliminated about 600 militants over the past two days.
Moscow intervened militarily in Syria in 2015, helping the government of Bashar Assad inflict heavy defeats on numerous terrorist groups, most notably al-Nusra and Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS). Russia maintains a significant military footprint in the country, with bases in Hmeimim and Tartus.
I have no doubt the West is behind this — I have no idea this is yet another insidious spawn of NATO working to destabilize Syria in order to advance some agenda. Trump is going to enter office in a month, and we know that Trump wants to pull out of Syria. During his first term, Trump said that he wanted someone else to take care of Syria, and that someone else was Syria, since it was the US that gave Turkey the green light to deploy troops into northern Syria. Where is the fighting occurring? Northern Syria. So I wouldn’t be shocked to see in the near future the US giving a brighter green light to Turkey to expand further military activity within Syria in the name of ‘bringing stability to the region.’ Moreover, lets not forget that just days ago Israel warned Bashar al-Assad that his support for Hezbollah would lead to him ‘paying a price’ . Syria is an ally of Iran, so any weakening of Syria would be seen by Israel as a benefit.
