The Islamic Rebels Who Are Trying To Overthrow The Assad Government Declare: ‘Turkey Gave Us The Green Light To Unleash Our Attack.’ Expect Turkish Power To Expand
It is known by everyone who has been studying the Syrian civil war that Turkey has been, and is, a major player in backing the revolution against Assad. Now, after four years of relative peace, the revolution has been revived, with rebels fighting to take over the city of Aleppo. According to the Times of Israel, the opposition has said that Turkey gave the rebels the green light to unleash their waves of attack:
Opposition sources in touch with Turkish intelligence said Turkey had given a green light to the offensive.
…An AFP correspondent in the rebel enclave saw jihadists advancing in tanks as intense exchanges of fire took place in an area just seven kilometers (a little over four miles) from Aleppo. AFP images showed abandoned army tanks and other military vehicles. The correspondent said the jihadists and their Turkey-backed allies took orders from a joint operations command.
Whats also interesting is that on November 28th, the day after the rebel attack began, Israel warned that Syria would pay a price for backing Hezbollah, as we read in the Times of Israel:
In a briefing Wednesday, a senior military official said that the IDF would not just strike the weapon shipments, but Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime would pay for aiding Hezbollah.
“If Syria helps Hezbollah to rebuild, they will pay direct prices. Not only the convoys will be attacked, but there will be prices to pay in Syria as well,” the official said.
Its obvious that Israel wants this violence to happen in Syria (as long as it does not spill over into Israel) so as to weaken Syria because it is an ally of Iran. Also, why is this rebel violence happening now, right before Trump is about to enter office? Remember what RFK announced recently: that Trump told him that he wants to withdraw US troops from Syria. RFK recounted how Trump drew out a map of Syria and said that US troops are located right in between Syria and Turkey, and expressed his desire to have them removed:
“We were talking about the Middle East, and he took a piece of paper and he drew on it [a] map of the Middle East with all the nations on it, which most Americans couldn’t do … He was he was particularly looking at the border between Syria and Turkey, and he said, ‘We have 500 men on the border of of Syria and Turkey and a little encampment that was bombed.’ … [RFK recounted how Trump told him that] If they go up against each other, we’re in the middle. And he said, ‘Get them out!’”
I talked about this in one of my recent videos:
It looks like NATO wants this violence to weaken an Iranian ally, and to destabilize Turkey so that Trump can have a reason to pull out troops. Turkey will fill in the vacuum left by the US. We will see the expansion of Turkish power. Moreover, Russia is also assisting Syria in fighting the Turkish backed rebels. NATO wants there to be tensions between Turkey and Russia because it does not want the former to get closer to the latter (Erdogan has talked about joining BRICS). Russia fighting Turkey’s proxies will help to revive tensions between Russia and Turkey.
