Rep. Tom Tiffany Torches Biden Official ‘Proud’ of Border Policies: ‘You Have Been Part of Largest Human Trafficking Operation Since Slavery’:

Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) went off on United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Ur Jaddou during a hearing this week after she suggested she has no regrets about her role in the Biden administration’s record-breaking illegal immigration wave to the United States.

During the immigration subcommittee hearing, Tiffany asked Jaddou, “Do you have any regrets over what’s happened in the last four years with the open borders policies and all its different ways here in America?”

Jaddou, whose agency has overseen mass approval of work permits for newly released migrants, suggested she has no regrets about her tenure at USCIS, which will end in late January 2021 once President-elect Donald Trump takes office.

“I am proud of the efforts that this administration has made with regards to its efforts at the southwest border,” Jaddou told Tiffany.

Tiffany responded, You have been part of the largest human trafficking operation since slavery in the United States of America. It is … the people of the United States voted for change on November 5 and we can only pray that it happens soon. [Emphasis added]

Indeed, in fewer than four years, the Biden administration has managed the arrival of nearly 8 million migrants at the nation’s southern border. As a result, the Mexican drug cartels have profited anywhere from $4 billion to $12 billion just from smuggling migrants across the border. —>WATCH and READ MORE HERE

House Republicans prod Biden’s USCIS director over unchecked mass migration

House Republicans accused the Biden administration’s top official over immigration services of expeditiously processing immigrant claims for admission, but at the cost of waiving in unvetted masses, they alleged.

In what was likely the final time that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, or USCIS, Director Ur Jaddou testified before lawmakers on Capitol Hill, Jaddou argued that the agency was closing up four years under her leadership with great success — a point that infuriated Republicans for how they claimed it had sunk into chaos during her tenure.

“Before I arrived, a perfect storm of policy and operational decisions, COVID, and a severely outdated fee structure led to a fiscal crisis,” Jaddou said about the 22,500-person agency before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement. “The results were a hiring freeze, the termination of support contracts, the issuance of furlough notices to 70% of the workforce. And as you might imagine, very low morale.”

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) praised USCIS for having completed 10 million immigration cases that were pending decisions in fiscal year 2023, despite the setbacks.

Jaddou touted a decrease in the pending immigration case backlog last year for the first time in a decade and “the security and vetting” of immigrants and sponsors was the “number one” priority for USCIS.

Additionally, USCIS was tasked in late 2022 with vetting immigrant sponsors in the United States and providing documents to the more than 530,000 immigrants outside the U.S. who requested admission to fly into the country. —>READ MORE HERE
