At the front – 189 clashes, the Armed Forces eliminated almost 200 occupiers in the Pokrovsky direction:

During December 19, there were 189 combat encounters between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the Russian invaders at the front, in particular, in the Pokrovsky direction, the defenders repelled 32 enemy attacks.

As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook about the situation as of 10:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19.

“Since the beginning of the day, there have been 189 combat clashes, the enemy carried out 51 airstrikes, dropping 80 anti-aircraft missiles, used 820 kamikaze drones, carried out more than 4,100 attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops,” the message reads.

On the Kharkiv direction, Russian terrorists carried out airstrikes in the areas of Tsupivka, Mali Prohody, Vesele, and Udy settlements.

Ten times, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked our fortifications in the Kupyansk direction in the areas of Lozova, Zagryzovo, and Kolisnikivka.

Seventeen enemy attacks were repulsed by Ukrainian soldiers near Tverdokhlibovo, Zeleny Gay, Terni and in Serebryansk Forestry in the Lymansk direction . Tverdokhlibove, Nadiya, Serhiivka, Grekivka and Serebryansky lis were hit by airstrikes.

On the Siverskyi direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the areas of Bilogorivka, Hryhorivka, and Verkhnokamyansky, nine attacks were repulsed in total. The areas of Serebryanka, Siversk, Riznikivka and Fedorivka settlements were hit by airstrikes.

In the Kramatorsk direction, one attempt by the invaders to advance near Chasovoy Yar ended in failure. Virolyubivka and Kramatorsk were hit by KAB airstrikes.

In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers stormed the positions of our defenders in the Toretsk and Shcherbinivka districts 12 times today. The defense forces are steadily holding back the onslaught. In the areas of Druzhba and Katerynivka, the enemy dropped anti-aircraft guns.

The enemy is intensively attacking the Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsky direction . During the day, the enemy carried out 32 offensive actions. The Russian occupiers are most active in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Solone, Novy Trud, Zelene, and Novovasylivka. Our defenders courageously hold the lines, repulsed all enemy attacks.

Since the early hours of December 19, 189 combat engagements have been recorded on the frontlines of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The fiercest assaults were observed in three directions within Ukraine’s Donetsk region and Russia’s Kursk region, according to the evening briefing from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy shelling

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 51 airstrikes, dropping 80 guided aerial bombs (GABs), deploying 820 kamikaze drones, and launching more than 4,100 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces conducted airstrikes targeting the areas of Tsupivka, Mali Prokhody, Vesele, and Udy.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched ten assaults on Ukrainian defensive positions near Lozova, Zahryzove, and Kolisnykivka.

In the Lyman direction, Defense Forces repelled 17 enemy attacks near Tverdokhlibove, Zelenyi Hai, Terny, and in the Serebrianske Forestry area. Tverdokhlibove, Nadiia, Serhiivka, Hrekivka, and the Serebrianske Forestry also came under airstrikes.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy launched offensive operations near Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka, and Verkhnokamianske, with Ukrainian forces repelling nine attacks. Airstrikes targeted the areas of Serebrianka, Siversk, Riznykivka, and Fedorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, an attempt by the Russian army to advance near Chasiv Yar failed. Guided aerial bombs (GABs) struck Viroliubivka and Kramatorsk.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russian army conducted 12 assaults on Ukrainian defensive positions near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. The Defense Forces are steadfastly holding their ground. GAB strikes were reported near Druzhba and Katerynivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy has launched intense attacks against Ukrainian defenders, carrying out 32 offensive actions throughout the day.

The highest level of activity by Russian forces was observed near the settlements of Sukha Balka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Solone, Novyi Trud, Zelene, and Novovasylivka.
