At the front – 191 clashes, the enemy lost 370 people in the Pokrovsky direction:

During December 20, 191 combat encounters between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the Russian invaders took place at the front, the largest number of enemy assaults were recorded in the Kursk and Pokrovsky directions.

As Ukrinform reports, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook , publishing operational information as of 10:00 p.m. Friday, December 20.

“Since the beginning of the day, there have been 191 combat clashes, the enemy has launched three missile and 32 air strikes using nine missiles and 59 anti-aircraft missiles, more than 730 strikes by kamikaze drones and carried out more than 4,000 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas using various types weapons,” the report says.

In the Kharkiv direction, there was one combat clash with the Russian invaders in the Vovchansk district.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried 11 times to dislodge our units from their occupied positions near Kucherivka, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Zagryzovy, and Lozova. One battle is ongoing.

Fourteen times the enemy attacked in the Lymansky direction , trying to advance in the directions of Yampolivka, Terni, Novosergiivka, Zeleny Gay, Ivanovka, Torsky, Hryhorivka, and in the Serebryansky forest. Two clashes continue until now.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled six enemy attempts to advance near the settlement of Chasiv Yar.

The enemy tried 11 times to penetrate our defense in the Toretsk direction . Since the beginning of the day, the occupiers in the areas of Toretsk and Leonidivka settlements have been repulsed ten times by our defenders. One attack is still ongoing.

The enemy is intensively attacking the Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsky direction . Here, during the day, the aggressor carried out 41 assault and offensive operations. The Russian occupiers are most active in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Novy Trud, Dachenske, Vovkovo, Pischane, Novovasylivka, Novoelizavetivka, Novooleksiivka, and Ukrainka. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled thirty-five attacks in the direction, six more clashes are ongoing.
