164 combat engagements in a day: where the occupants are trying to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense:

There were 164 combat engagements in the frontline, including 39 assaults in the Pokrovsk sector. The enemy launched 35 air strikes and fired over 4,600 times at Ukrainian positions.

Since the beginning of the day on December 26, 164 combat engagements have taken place at the front, of which 39 were conducted by Russians in the Pokrovsk sector. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report as of 22:00 in Telegram, UNN reports.

Situation on the routes

In the Kharkiv sector, two firefights with Russian invaders took place near Vovchansk and Starytsia, both attacks were successfully repelled by Ukrainian troops.

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy tried to push our units out eight times near Zakhidne, Lozova, Kruhlyakivka, Bohuslavka and Nova Kruhlyakivka, four of the engagements are still ongoing.

The enemy attacked twenty-four times in the Liman sector, trying to advance in the directions of Kopanky, Cherneshchyna, Novosergiivka, Platonivka, Zelenyi Hai, Druzhelyubivka, Makiivka, Terny, Zarichne, Torske and in the Serebryansky forest. In addition, Nadiya, Oleksandrivka and Zelenyi Hai were hit by 18 NARs

In the Siverskiy direction, the occupants attacked three times without success in the area of Bilohorivka and Hryhorivka.

The areas of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Bila Hora and Oleksandro-Shultine were attacked in the Kramatorsk sector four times, the enemy was not successful. The situation in the area is under control, the Defense Forces are steadfastly holding their positions.

The enemy tried to break into our defense 13 times in the Toretsk direction. The occupants acted in the areas of Diliyivka and Toretsk, all attacks were repelled, the enemy was not successful.

The enemy is intensively attacking Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovske sector. Here, during the day, the aggressor carried out 39 assault and offensive actions. Russian occupants are the most active in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Dachanske, Novyi Trud, Pishchane, Pokrovsk, Novooleynivka, Vovkove, Shevchenko and Novotroitske. The enemy is intensively attacking the Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsky direction . Here, during the day, the aggressor carried out 39 assault and offensive actions. The Russian occupiers are most active in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Myrolyubivka, Promeny, Lysivka, Zeleny, Dachensky, Novy Trud, Pischany, Pokrovsk, Novoolenyvka, Vovkovy, Shevchenko, and Novotroitsky. Three clashes continue until now.

Our soldiers are making efforts to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory.
