158 combat engagements: where the occupants tried to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense:
Over the day of December 27, 158 combat engagements took place, the most intense in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors. The enemy carried out 37 air strikes and fired over 4,300 times at Ukrainian positions.
Since the beginning of the day on December 27, 158 combat engagements took place in the frontline. The situation remained the hottest today in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions, and the enemy was also active in the Lyman, Vremivske directions and in the Kursk region. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report as of 22:00 in Telegram, UNN reports.

It is noted that the enemy carried out 37 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine (including 43 drones), used 808 kamikaze drones to destroy them. It carried out more than 4300 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.
Situation on the routes
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy attacked twice near Vovchansk.
According to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian troops destroyed and wounded 72 occupants in this sector today, destroying a tank, two artillery systems, an anti-tank vehicle, four vehicles, three communications equipment and 29 UAVs, and severely damaging an armored combat vehicle and nine vehicles

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy tried to advance to our positions near Petropavlivka and Lozova five times during the day. Four of the enemy’s attacks were repelled by the Defense Forces. The battle is currently underway.
In the Liman direction, the enemy attacked 20 times in the areas of Pershotravneve, Novoyehorivka, Nadiia, Terny, Torske, Zarichne, Dibrova and in the Serebryansky forest. Our soldiers repelled the occupiers’ attacks.
In the Siverskiy sector, the occupants tried to advance four times in the area of Bilohorivka and in the direction of Vyymka, but were rebuffed.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants’ activity amounted to five combat engagements since the beginning of the day. Assault operations took place near Chasovyi Yar, Bila Hora and Stupochky.
On the Toretsk direction, our troops repelled ten enemy attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. All attacks were stopped.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has tried 52 times to break into our defense in the Pokrovske sector in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Vozdvyzhenka, Lysivka, Dachanske, Novyi Trud, Shevchenko, Novoyelizavetivka, Novovasylivka and Vovkove. Ukrainian defenders continue to mount a successful defense against relentless Russian assaults, delivering a decisive blow to enemy forces near Pokrovsk, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, 158 combat engagements have occurred so far. The fiercest clashes were reported in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, with enemy activity also observed in the Lyman and Vremivka directions and the Kursk region.
Throughout the day, Russian forces launched 37 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory, including 43 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they deployed 808 kamikaze drones. In total, more than 4,300 shelling incidents targeting Ukrainian military positions and civilian settlements were recorded.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces launched two attacks near Vovchansk. Preliminary estimates indicate that Ukrainian defenders eliminated or wounded 72 occupiers during the day in this area. In the Lyman direction, Russian forces carried out 20 attacks, all of which were repelled by Ukrainian troops.
In the Siversk direction, the Russian army attempted to advance four times but were driven back.
In the Kramatorsk direction, five combat engagements were recorded, with assaults occurring near Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled ten enemy attacks, successfully halting all advances.
