118 clashes took place at the front, the enemy continues to put the most pressure on the Pokrovsky direction – General Staff:
During the day, 118 clashes took place, most of all in the Pokrovsky direction – 27 attacks. The enemy launched 2 missiles and 38 airstrikes, used 691 kamikaze drones.
Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely rebuff the enemy’s attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting effective fire damage on him, exhausting him along the entire front line. Since the beginning of this day, there have been 118 military clashes. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its report as of 22.00 on 02.01.2025, UNN reported .
The Russian invaders launched two missile and 38 airstrikes, using two missiles and 65 KABs. In addition, the Russians involved 691 kamikaze drones and carried out about three thousand attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements,

In the Kharkiv direction , our troops repelled two enemy attacks in the Vovchansk area. Today, in this direction, Ukrainian defenders neutralized 37 occupiers, destroyed 32 UAVs, an ammunition storage site and a means of communication, and also damaged an artillery system and three vehicles.
In the Kupiansk direction , the enemy three times stormed the positions of our defenders in the areas of Western, Dvorichna and Kruhlyakovka. Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack, two more are still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction , during the day, the Russian invaders attacked the positions of Ukrainians near Nadiya, Makiivka, Terny, Hryhorivka and in the Serebryansky forest 16 times. Currently, four battles are underway.
In the Sivershchyna direction , during the day, the enemy made one attempt to attack the positions of our units in the Bilohorivka area. They were unsuccessful.
In the Kramatorsk direction , six clashes have been recorded so far near Chasiv Yar and Stupky, four attacks were successfully repelled by our defenders, and two clashes continue.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians attacked the positions of the defense forces eight times. The occupiers concentrated the main efforts of the offensive near the settlements of Toretsk, New York and Shcherbynivka.
Since the beginning of this day, in the Pokrovsky direction , the occupying units have tried 27 times to break through our defenses near the settlements of Myrolyubivka, Lisivka, Novyi Trud, Pishchane, Shevchenko, Uspenivka, Solene and Novovasylivka. In the Siversk direction, the enemy attempted an assault near Bilohorivka but failed to succeed.
In the Kramatorsk direction, six combat engagements were recorded near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled four attacks while two battles continued.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces carried out eight attacks, focusing their efforts near Toretsk, New York, and Shcherbynivka. Two engagements are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted 27 assaults near Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Novyi Trud, Pishchane, Shevchenko, Uspenivka, Solone, and Novovasylivka. One battle remains active. —>READ MORE HERE
