Israel Police to investigate terrorist display planted in pickup truck
A protest display set up on Thursday in Kfar Saba featured figures of three terrorists in the trunk of a white pickup truck, resembling the October 7 Hamas infiltration into southern Israeli communities.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident and announced that the display has been dismantled. Additionally, officers from the Kfar Saba station detained three suspects – residents of Kfar Saba, Tel Aviv, and a settlement in the West Bank – on suspicion of improper conduct in a public space.
The display, placed on Tel Hai Street in Kfar Saba, depicted figures resembling terrorists and sparked outrage. According to police estimates, the protest was intended to express opposition to the deal for the release of hostages from Gaza and the release of terrorists.
The incident occurred when a pickup truck carrying mannequins resembling terrorists in its bed was left in the area overnight. In the morning, residents noticed the unusual display and quickly reported it to the police, who arrived at the scene and removed the truck along with the mannequins.
“I saw that display, and it was horrifying,” said Amelie, a Kfar Saba resident who stumbled upon the situation and struggled to hide her anxiety. “Yes, they put up a small sign saying it was a display, but when you see it, you nearly have a heart attack. They were on a pickup truck and looked like Hamas terrorists. Where’s the consideration? All in the name of art? Frightening the public like this?”
She added, “I was scared for my life. I couldn’t believe they were Israelis [who did this]. I was so frightened and was certain that terrorists had come from the West Bank to Kfar Saba. I’m terrified, shaking. Where are the police? How do they allow this to happen? Are we being abandoned again? I’m shocked.”
Display was to promote an ‘all-out war’
According to a right-wing activist on X, the purpose of the display is to promote an “all-out war” in the West Bank.
“This display illustrates just a fraction of what will happen if the State of Israel doesn’t move quickly to conquer Jenin, expel its terrorists, and establish Jewish settlements there,” she explained. “Not just an operation, and not empty promises. An all-out war – or the ‘nukhbas’ will drag the daughters of Kfar Saba to Jenin.”
The “Reservists for Victory Generation” movement, which initiated the “Nukhbas Project” in Kfar Saba, defended their decision to hold the display. According to them, “Anyone who thinks that a display of mannequins is horrifying has apparently forgotten what happened here on October 7 and doesn’t understand what will happen in central cities next time Hamas launches an attack, God Forbid, from the West Bank.”
“We, who have been fighting in reserve duty for over 15 months, have been shouting for over a year to end this war with a decisive victory over the enemy – to break its back and stop advancing toward more surrender agreements with terrorist organizations. The eyes can explain better than the ears are willing to hear,” they wrote on X. “We demand that the country’s leadership not forget the Tishrei 5784 massacre and the heroism of the soldiers. Stop surrendering to the Nazi-like Hamas organization, conquer the northern Gaza Strip, allow Gaza’s population to leave the area, and completely destroy Hamas.”
