83 combat engagements in a day: where the occupants are most actively attacking the Ukrainian Armed Forces – General Staff:

Over the last day, 83 combat engagements took place, with the largest number of attacks registered in the Pokrovsk sector – 21 attempts to break through. The enemy was actively using aviation with UAVs in various parts of the frontline.

There have been 83 combat engagements since the beginning of the day. The aggressor continues to exert the most active pressure in the Pokrovsk sector. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.

In the Kharkiv sector , the invaders launched air strikes with UAVs on Okhrimivka, Makarove, Buhayivka and Hranov.

In the Kupyansk sector , the enemy conducted three offensives near Novoosynove and Zahryzove, and was repulsed.

In the Liman sector , terrorists attacked 10 times near Novove, Novomykhailivka, Yampolivka and in the direction of Katerynivka.

In the Toretsk sector Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 13 attacks in the areas of Krymske, Dachne, Toretsk and Diliyivka.

In the Pokrovsk SecTOR , The ENEMY Attacked 21 Times in the ARAS OF NOVA POLTAVKA, YELIZAVETIVKA, Promin, Kotlyarivka, Nadezhdanka, Pokrovsk, Pishchana, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka, Andriivka and Ulaklivka. Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of March 1

As of 10:00 PM (Kyiv time), 83 combat engagements occurred in the frontline over the last day. Some fighting is still ongoing, informs the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy shelling

Today, Russian forces launched two missile strikes and 76 airstrikes, using two missiles and 95 guided bombs. They deployed 987 kamikaze drones and carried out over 4,000 shellings on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes with guided bombs on Okhrimivka, Makarove, Buhaivka, and Hranove.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces conducted three offensive actions near Novoosynove and Zahryzove but were repelled.

In the Lyman direction, Russians attacked Ukrainian defense positions 10 times near Novyi, Novomykhailivka, and Yamplivka, and in the direction of Katerynivka. Eight of these attacks have been repelled, while two are ongoing. Borova and Bohuslavka came under enemy airstrikes.

In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 13 enemy attacks in Krymske, Dachne, Toretsk, and Diliivka. Airstrikes hit Kostiantynivka and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has launched 21 attacks in the areas of Nova Poltavka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Kotlyarivka, Nadezhdinka, Pokrovsk, Pishchane, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, and Ulakly. The enemy’s aviation carried out guided bomb strikes on Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hrodivka, Novopavlivka, and Novoukrainka.

“Today, in this direction, according to preliminary data, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 236 Russians, including 116 killed. They also destroyed four vehicles, a D-30 howitzer, 14 UAVs, eight motorcycles, two ATVs, two armored personnel carriers, a mortar, a BMP, an armored recovery vehicle, seven UAV control antennas, and six communication antennas. A tank, a combat armored vehicle, a self-propelled artillery unit, a mortar, and a motorcycle of Russian forces were also damaged,” the General Staff said.—>READ MORE HERE
