Trump: ‘We Have A President Who Can’t Walk, Can’t Talk’
Former President Donald Trump mocked President Joe Biden’s frailty Wednesday night in an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
“I think he’s worse mentally than he is physically, and physically, he’s not exactly a triathlete or any kind of an athlete,” Trump said when asked whether the incumbent would make it to November 2024.
“You look at him, he can’t walk to the helicopter. He walks — he can’t lift his feet out of the grass, you know, it’s only two inches of the White House, right? It’s not a lot. But you watch him and it looks like he’s walking on toothpicks.”
Biden, the Republican front-runner said, is “the worst president in the history of our country.”
“We have a president that can’t put two sentences together,” Trump said, complaining Biden “can’t speak, can’t walk, can’t talk.”
“I don’t think he’s going to make it to the gate,” Trump added, going on to mock the president at the beach with “skinny legs” who “can’t lift a chair.”
At 80, Biden is the oldest president ever to hold the Oval Office. He will be nearly 82 at the time of next year’s election. His repeat stumbling and mumbling have raised questions about his age and doubts about his aptitude to run the White House. In June, Biden fell on stage at the graduation ceremony for the U.S. Air Force Academy. On Monday, Biden was spotted apparently “nodding off” at a memorial service for victims of the fires in Hawaii.
Meanwhile, Trump, at 77, is now facing up to 641 years in prison.
The Republican front-runner skipped the GOP Fox News-moderated debate in Wisconsin on Wednesday night for a 45-minute sit-down interview with Carlson. While Trump’s Republican rivals sparred on-stage in Milwaukee, the former president trashed Biden, Russia-collusion hoaxers, and GOP Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, among other items.
