Apostle Paul’s ‘I Voted’ Sticker Unearthed

ITALY—Now, here’s a timely find: archaeologists have just announced the discovery of the Apostle Paul’s “I Voted” sticker, indicating he proudly participated in Roman political life.

Evidence suggests the Apostle Paul proudly wore the sticker after voting in local Roman elections and even mailed the sticker to various churches along with his epistles so they would know that he voted.

“It’s obvious that the Apostle Paul took this civic duty very seriously,” said one scholar. “It was a key part of early church history: voting for rulers was probably the primary way that the church spread the gospel, and not personal evangelism or loving one’s neighbor as Christ commanded.”

Workers at the dig site also uncovered a first-century voter’s guide Paul distributed to the churches.
