During Powerful Worship Song, Man Moved To Take Hands Slightly Out Of Pockets

SOUTH PORTLAND, ME—During an unusually powerful worship service this Sunday morning, local churchgoer Darren White became so deeply moved by the truth of the gospel he was singing that he managed to pull his hands out of his pockets slightly.

“I don’t know what came over me,” said White. “As the worship team led us through our 18th repetition of the bridge and the music swelled, I felt myself pulling my hands out of my jeans pockets. The Holy Spirit must have fallen on me. That’s the only way I can explain it.”

Witnesses say White also began swaying ever so slightly as he sang with his eyes closed. Other witnesses claim they saw his left hand escape his pocket entirely and turn upward in the classic “palms up” worship pose, although those facts are contested.

White believes this marks a new milestone in his relationship with God. Sources say he’s thinking about taking the next step this coming Easter by attempting a mild “hands clasped in front while slightly swaying” worship method.
