Another Matt Walsh Hack Suspected After He Posts Calm, Friendly Tweet

NASHVILLE, TN — Even as controversy continues to arise in the wake of Daily Wire personality Matt Walsh’s phone being illegally accessed to hack his Twitter and email accounts, a new report indicates the hack is still ongoing, as someone claiming to be Walsh posted a polite, calm, and mild-mannered tweet to his account.

“Hey, everyone. Hope you are all well. Feeling good today. Not mad about anything. Love you all!” the Tweet read, with accompanying smiley-face and heart emojis. Walsh’s followers immediately raised red flags over the tweet’s easygoing tone. “There’s no way that’s actually Matt,” said follower Josiah Smith. “He’s never this calm. Even on his happiest days, he’s got something grinding his gears. This is obviously another hack!”

As further evidence of unauthorized posts, Walsh’s Instagram featured a photo of Walsh smiling, something many of his fans have never seen before. “It’s either an old pic from before Matt became such a firebrand or it’s an AI-generated image,” said Instagram follower Ryan Kitchen. “There’s absolutely no way the Matt Walsh we all know and love would be smiling on a day like today…or ever!”

Statements from Daily Wire and Walsh himself indicate the investigation into the hacking scandal is still in progress, with all leads being followed to learn the identity of the culprit. “We’re digging into everything,” said CEO Jeremy Boreing. “I’d personally like to know the whereabouts of one Steven Crowder when Matt’s phone was taken.”

At publishing time, Walsh was reportedly trying to get ahead of the situation, anticipating the potential leak of beardless photos.
