Unemployed George Santos Stands In Times Square With Sign Reading ‘I Am SpongeBob’

NEW YORK—Following his shocking expulsion from Congress, former Rep. George Santos of New York was spotted in Times Square Friday holding a sign that read “I am SpongeBob.” “Come on over and snap a photo with ‘the Bob,’” said the disgraced and currently unemployed Republican, who was seen brandishing the handwritten sign while standing amidst a crowd of competing Mickeys, Elmos, and Buzz Lightyears. “Step right up, children, and grab a once-in-a-lifetime souvenir for only $25. Hurry, while there’s still no line. Yes, hello, it’s me, the magic man who’s made of cheese!” At press time, Santos was reportedly wrestling to the ground a child who had tried to take a picture of him without paying first.
