Dozen Palestinians Killed In IDF Operation To Cross Street
KHAN YUNIS, GAZA—In a brutal scene of death and destruction that claimed the lives of countless innocent bystanders, reporters confirmed Friday that a dozen Palestinians had been killed in a recent operation by the Israel Defense Forces to cross the street. The casualties, which included civilian men, women, and children, reportedly took place after the IDF declared its intention to walk from one side of a 18-foot-wide road to the other, necessitating that it clear out any potential Hamas militants with a combination of tanks, heavy artillery, and sniper fire, as well as long-range missiles. While the Israeli Defense Ministry claimed it had dropped flyers informing Palestinians of the IDF’s intentions to cross the street, many had not left the area, giving forces no choice but to kill anyone within 1 square mile who looked as though they could potentially imperil the effort to reach the other side of the public thoroughfare. At press time, sources reported that an Israeli missile had mistakenly destroyed the street they’d intended to cross, leaving IDF soldiers no choice but to abandon the mission and retreat.
