PHILADELPHIA—Impressing all with their financial savvy, local engaged couple Michelle Zwicker and Peter Elliott reportedly saved thousands of dollars on their wedding by booking their venue for 3 a.m. on a Wednesday. “At first, I wasn’t sure if the venue would let me book it for a single hour in the middle of the night, but I learned a powerful lesson—if you want something, just ask!” said Zwicker, who beamed as she gushed how much you could save if you simply resisted splurging on the hours when most people were awake. “Of course, the only place available for catering that early is the 24-hour Dunkin, but that’s actually great, because it’s super affordable. No minimum either! We’ll just have to tip the Seamless guy. Save the date for Jan. 1, 2025!” Zwicker later divulged that the venue had only cost the couple $35,000.
