Husband Wishes Wife Had Been More Honest When They Were Dating About Wanting Family Portraits
NEW YORK—Shocked and frustrated by the sudden revelation, local man Anton Pierson told reporters Tuesday that he wished his wife, Marcy Pierson, had been more honest when they were dating about wanting family portraits. “We’ve been together for years, and she never brought it up once—and now she’s telling me she wants at least three?” said Pierson, shaking his head as he recounted how he had returned home one night and discovered his wife had purchased color-coordinating slacks and sweaters, which led to an explosive argument. “Starting family portraits isn’t a decision one makes lightly, does she not understand that? I guess this mess is all on me for not insisting we do premarital counseling. Plus, we live in a one-bedroom apartment. Where would they even go? The kitchen? A drawer?” At press time, Pierson added that even if he wanted family portraits, he wouldn’t be able to afford them.
