Emma Stone On Phone With Louis Vuitton Customer Service For 4 Hours Trying To Get Refund On Ripped Gown
LOS ANGELES—Growing increasingly frustrated by the agonizing customer service experience, Emma Stone was reportedly on the phone with a Louis Vuitton representative for four hours Monday trying to get a refund on her gown that ripped at the Oscars ceremony last night. “Hi, Emily, we are so sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with one of our products—do you have the order number on you, by chance?” said a customer service representative for the designer brand, repeating the same words that the previous three Louis Vuitton call center employees had spoken and causing the Academy Award winner to momentarily put her phone on mute and scream into a pillow. “We’re going to need the address of the store you purchased this gown from. Are you a rewards member? You don’t know? Hmm. Unfortunately, because you said you already wore the gown, we cannot offer you a refund, but my supervisor may be able to give you store credit. Please hold while I connect you.” At press time, sources confirmed Stone had stuffed the torn dress into the back of her closet and decided to try again tomorrow.
