Don Lemon Announces New Show Airing Exclusively On MySpace

NEW YORK, NY — Not long after news broke that his agreement to produce content for the social media platform X was terminated, broadcast journalist Don Lemon announced his new show would premiere soon and air exclusively on MySpace.

Having been let go by both CNN and X in a short period of time, Lemon was thrilled to have the opportunity to join one of the most widely known social media sites of all time and had already lined up several guests to appear on the new show.

“I’m excited to be on the cutting edge of social media content,” Lemon said in a statement announcing the new show. “Television and cable news networks are dinosaurs. Getting all of your news and information from social media sources is the wave of the future, and nothing screams ‘future’ like MySpace. Join now! Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to find yourself in my ‘Top 8!'”

While Lemon’s new show was abruptly canceled by X before it began airing due to a tense confrontation with Elon Musk, he said there would be no such problem on his new platform. “Things didn’t work out with Elon and X,” he said. “That’s fine. Fortunately, MySpace provides me with an outlet that will never slam the door in my face. Even when I feel like I have no friends, I can always count on Tom to be on my list at MySpace.”

At publishing time, though Lemon was confident his new MySpace show would be a hit, he had already lined up a backup option to air the show on AOL.
