DORADO, PUERTO RICO—In response to a training video that the six-time former heavyweight champion posted in anticipation of their match, Jake Paul announced Monday that he was bringing a gun with him to fight Mike Tyson. “This July, when I fight Mike Tyson, I will come to the arena with a loaded firearm,” the 27-year-old influencer and boxer stated in a message posted to his YouTube channel in which he cocked the gun, shot a bullet into the air, and said he’d see Tyson on July 20 on Netflix. “For the last few months, I’ve been at the shooting range training every day at 6 a.m. I don’t care how many belts you have, old man! Prepare to eat lead.” At press time, Jake Paul was reportedly panicking in a follow-up video after realizing he could not shoot his gun while wearing boxing gloves.
