The Babylon Bee Has Announced We Will Lend Struggling Satire Site ‘The Onion’ One Of Our Two Jokes

Upon hearing the news that the Onion had been sold off yet again this past week, the Babylon Bee has decided to step in and help the floundering satire site by lending them one of its two jokes.

“We will even let them choose which joke,” said Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon in a statement. “They can have the ‘identifies as’ joke, or the, um… what was our other one?”

With the Babylon Bee being a Christian knock-off of the Onion, the Bee reportedly felt compelled to help the flailing Onion get back on its feet. “It’s the least we can do for our secular counterpart that we’ve copied all these years,” said Editor-In-Chief Kyle Mann. “We will need that joke back though when they’re done with it. There are only so many ways I can word, ‘Did you just assume my gender?'”

At publishing time, a Bee writer had reportedly come up with a brilliant third joke to replace the one the Bee had loaned out — only to once again discover that it was the same joke.
