Report: 78% Of Americans Too Distracted By Politics To Appreciate The Summer Glen Powell Is Having
WASHINGTON—A new report published Tuesday by the Pew Research Center found that 78% of Americans were too distracted by politics to appreciate the summer Glen Powell is having. “Between the attempted assassination of one party’s presidential candidate and a last-minute replacement of the other, more than three quarters of Americans are unfortunately too overwhelmed to notice that Glen Powell is at the top of his game,” said the report’s coauthor Thomas Jarnecke, who stressed that both Hit Man and Twisters had proved the 35-year-old actor “a miracle,” “a bona fide movie star,” and “the second coming of Tom Cruise.” “Frankly, nobody is doing it like Glen Powell right now. If democracy wasn’t under attack, Glen Powell would be the name on everybody’s lips.” At press time, Jarnecke added that only a dismal 19% of Americans were aware Powell was set to star in a remake of The Running Man directed by Edgar Wright.
