Millions Of Christians Renounce Their Faith After Irrefutable Social Media Post From Neil deGrasse Tyson

NEW YORK, NY — The global religious sphere experienced a sudden shift this week, as millions of Christians renounced their faith after an irrefutable social media post from Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Devout followers of Jesus Christ reportedly had their faith irreparably shaken upon reading a post from the famous astrophysicist, who totally owned the entire religion without any effort whatsoever.

“I had no doubts at all… until I saw Neil deGrasse Tyson’s post,” said now-former Christian Spencer Dunn. “I was brought up in a Christian family, attended church all my life, and really believed it was all true. But after Neil deGrasse Tyson made that post on X, I had no choice but to throw it all away and bow to his intellectual superiority.”

Millions of people who had previously professed faith in Christ expressed similar experiences. “It’s a real eye-opener,” said former believer Mindy Lange. “I mean, all the other posts I saw from Neil deGrasse Tyson were poems about the Moon and continual references to kissing himself on the lips in a mirror, but I had to take his critique of Christianity seriously. He really knows what he’s talking about. He’s been on TV, after all.”

A representative for Tyson said the astrophysicist was unavailable for comment as he was explaining to a wedding reception that it was not, in fact, “Raining Men.”

Religious leaders around the world were concerned that further social media posts from Tyson might eradicate Christianity from existence entirely and hoped he would stick to defending men competing in women’s sports.
