Man Can’t Wait For America To Finally Be Great Again So He Can Stop Wearing Itchy Trucker Hat
TUSTIN, CA — Louis Silverton, a longtime supporter of President Trump, says he can’t wait for America to finally be great again so he can stop wearing this itchy trucker hat.
“I hate trucker hats, and it itches like crazy,” Silverton said. “I really wish Trump would, I dunno, hurry things up a bit.”
Silverton’s MAGA hat, a red trucker cap embroidered with the phrase “Make America Great Again”, is his third such hat. He wears it every day, waiting for America to finally be great again so he can finally cast it aside.
“Trump sure is taking his time,” Silverton observed as he scratched he briefly removed the cumbersome hat to scratch his scalp. “But I can’t give up now. Not when we’re probably so close.”
According to sources, the comfort of the cotton twill used in the hat’s manufacture is hampered by a stiff build which rubs people the wrong way. Silverton, in particular, finds the hat particularly itchy on his forehead and where it rubs awkwardly against the top of his ears.
“Sometimes I think removing this hat won’t really hurt the cause,” Silverton confessed. “But what if I’m wrong? I can’t let Trump down.”
At publishing time, a dermatologist advised Silverton to remove the hat, after which he was accused of treason.
