Trump Brings In Chick-Fil-A Manager To Negotiate Peace Between Russia, Ukraine

ISTANBUL — President Trump redoubled his efforts to end the Russo-Ukrainian War by bringing in a Chick-fil-A manager to handle negotiations.
Manager Hunter Giblet said of his new role, “It’s my pleasure.”
Giblet joined the Chick-fil-A family in 2017 as a Team Member. His tireless hard work and attention to customer service earned him the rank of Team Leader just six months later. In 2024, he was named Restaurant Manager before being hand-picked by Trump as U.S. Special Envoy to Eastern Europe.
“No one’s happier than a Chick-fil-A customer. That’s why I knew I needed one of their managers to lead negotiations,” Trump said regarding the appointment. “Putin is a really nasty customer and we’ve got to calm him down because we’re all out of chicken.”
“The chicken is Ukraine,” he added. “It’s a metaphor.”
Manager Giblet was reportedly nervous about heading up negotiations because he had no experience ending European conflicts. But what he lacked in geopolitics he more than made up for with a can do attitude.
“Okay, team, the sooner we end this war, the sooner we can break for lunch,” Manager Giblet said as he opened his official Chick-fil-A Conflict Resolutions Handbook. “It’s my pleasure.”
At publishing time, Vladimir Putin showed up to peace talks in person after learning it was being catered by Chick-fil-A.
